Possible they did nothing to the card. The scan of the PSA 8 is a bit blurry so detail is lost but the two right corners appear sharper to me in scan of the PSA 9. Possible they filed the corners? Also possible they did nothing.

No chance. If it's a Triple sSs card in a PSA 9 holder, it's altered.
