Like I said - kyrie is the best duke alumni in the history of the school.

That’s saying something given their perennial superior recruiting class.

Maybe it has something to do with the one and done of recent years.
Tatum, Kyrie, Paolo, and Zion haven't risen or will rise to the top of the NBA? What are we saying here...

Compared to other legacy schools who can boast Jordan, Kareem, Magic Johnson, etc. from the historical perspective, those current dukies are nothing. Prior to Kyrie, what Duke alumni was the best in their school history in the NBA? Keep in mind, they have been getting the best high schoolers since the 1980’s….

Heck, even Wake Forest can claim they have had an NBA player better than Duke has.

Wake forest!!! Davidson!!! lol.

I am not debating anything from the past. Are you not comprehending this?

The why are you debating?

There’s no argument that Duke gets the best players year in year out - they have high draft picks, but that rarely translates to long term success for them.

Long term, however, they get forgotten to history.

That was my only point. I never said Duke players sucked, they simply don’t have long lasting legacies and it’s mind boggling given their high school and college pedigrees.

Because you said Duke players don't have great basketball careers, which is flat out not true. Their current NBA players dispel any notion of this.

All you had to do was read my first reply to understand this, instead you went down a rabbit hole and brought up players who played 30+ years ago.

So I will clarify further at this point in time. “Great” for me means top 50 player of all time.

“Great” for you means serviceable NBA player.

We are both correct and as was alluded to earlier, we are both arguing two different points.

People who are scratching their heads about the moves the Pistons are making....

Trajan Langdon is the one making those decisions. Career: 5.4/1.3/1.3

Hope he knows what he is doing.

Are you referring to the Hardaway trade? Makes perfect sense. Take on an expiring contract for picks. Pistons have cap space. I believe they are extending Cade. Draft pick is a shot for high upside. We got a better x/o coach (I think). So far so good in my book. Not saying the Pistons will be any good, but he seems to making good decisions. I don't like the Harris deal. Didn't like him during his first stint with the Pistons.
