2023-24 Optic Blasters

Opened my 2 Megas. Best cards were Miller White Hot Rookie Holo, Scoot Express Lane Purple and Sensabaugh Blue Seismic RR /299.

No Wembys or decent hyper pink rookies.

At my local Wal-Mart this am and rep was there stocking product. They had Optic megas and 2024 Topps series 2. Grabbed 4-5 mega boxes and left the rest. Opened two of them and wife pulled a Wemby pink hyper Prizm.

I would imagine in the 15k range but I may be way off.

The /99 parallels seem to be in the 2-2.5k range.

I got a bunch last night, slightly higher $/card than blasters but the Target exclusives tend to be the shortest print of any of the SKUs. We’ll see how they do in terms of hit rate. Also in terms of Wemby I think a purple shock will look better than a pink hyper

Will there be any difference in terms of parallel? Red ice vs blue ice like select?

Blasters have three different glitter parallels. Bronze /99, red 79, and blue to 15. There are also checkerboards, numbered inserts.

Walmart megas have two numbered parallels blue tectonic /249, and orange hyper to /99

I have yet to see any numbered parallels in the inserts from the megas.

Looking forward to the target megas and the hobby megas(what used to be fanatics). The different parallels are fun to chase.

Fresh stock of megas from wm....have not been following the thread. Are they looking better than the blasters?
