A star player holding out on the team is also the President of Basketball Operations' issue. It's not like Harden pulled a Kai Jones and just went insane all of a sudden. He was slighted by Morey, whether legitimate or not, he let it be known months ago and Morey has done nothing about it, while the season begins next week.

Kyrie quit on the Nets and KD, the "alpha", blamed everything on Nash. Harden escaped the sinking ship like a rat, yes. But he was there to play, while Kyrie was not, and KD was there to lay piles of excuses, as per usual.

Harden is up there for most unlikeable in the league. Tired of him complaining about every situation he has put himself in. With the dropoff in his game, he isn't worth the headache at all anymore.

Slemby with a donut in the first half. But put a few in during the 3rd. So long as he stays aggressive and doesn't settle for those terribly off-balanced treys- he'll be living at the line.

CWitt looking as advertised. Smart/T-Allen hybrid with ups. 6 purse snatches and generally an all-out dawg.

Going to be interesting how the offensive dynamic in H-town develops once JG's back in the lineup. Lotta mouths to feed.

If you look good, it's optimistic but doesn't mean much. If you look bad, there are reasons to worry.
