I agree with you that Klay and Harden right off the bat come to mind as rude awakening coming on their desired max. Then again, Jerami Grant got a max, Kyrie somehow managed to get 3 years, Draymond got way more than I thought he deserved going forward, etc.

I’m just waiting for when Lebron can take the backseat. This is like the third year in a row where they said other guys will step up and take over the majority role.
