Memphis' offense looking anemic without Ja.

Much surprise.

He's cool but you're never getting much over a dozen from him with a handful of assists.

Are you saying the players only meeting after game 1 didn't work out?

Zach drops half a Wilt game and they still lose by 16...

Patrick Williams and Coby White are amazing.

Note the calibration to Nesmith on the court and defensive stops. And now... get this... inside penetration to the basket when he gets the ball. but.. let's see if he cracks 6 3s

They're a Trevor Noah benching away from being competitive nightly.

Yeah but he ran the team far better than Ja

Ja is your X factor though and the dude that puts bums on seats.

It looks like Dame forgot to set his alarm today.

Bucks trail by 20 at halftime. Dome has 0 points and 6 turnovers

There's a reason why they let Tyus go in favor of an offensively limited, mid-level pg in Smart.

Yes, I know the 'buh buh....they're 33-17 without Ja!' narrative was run to the ground the previous 2 seasons by the thug detractors, but it doesn't take a basketball savant to know that Tyus is not an elite tier player nor an alpha that you have starting on a squad with championship aspirations (unless you already have a 1a player like Giannis, Jokic, etc).

Ja is not without his flaws, but stop the cap. Nobody else on that roster can create their own shot on a consistent basis. They desperately need that offensive spark.

They're missing 2 starters plus their 6th&7th men [Tyus and Clarke], and they have a new pg who is not really a pg. If anyone thought they'd come out gangbusters offensively they were lying to themselves. I like Smart but he's not anywhere near the game manager or PG that Tyus is.

Losing Tyus now means that Ja is the only actual PG on the roster, so yeah they need him more now than they did last year.

A lot of folks typed some words this offseason about how Denver would be worse due to losing Bruce Brown, lol.

It's game 3 and Peyton Watson already looks like Bruce 2.0 Deluxe
