Lakers weren't that good to begin with. And now?

No reason to overthink it.

Definitely not a useless stat. Even though often it can mean nothing. Often it means something and if you've ever coached you'll often notice certain players are a plus consistently even though their "numbers" don't jump off the stat sheet.

Of course he's an idiot. But he does impact games positively some of the time.

Why does KD look shocked they lost. Ha ha. Those scared eyes again.

No reason to overthink anything, it's absolutely normal for him and whatever team he is on. Drama. LeBron hurt something but acted like he needed an ambulance. Sure enough, he came back the hero he thinks himself to be at put up a pretty big stat line with the Lakers winning. Now the next 24 hours headlines will be about LeBron hurting himself. He's still trying to do his "flu game" like MJ. He does it every year, gets injured, it lingers, takes games off, nobody knows WTF is happening with him and then he blames it on the GM and owner.

Wolves v. Pacers, called it.

First non local market in-depth analysis of Indy I have listened to. 15:30 - Haliburton and Jokic are "contagious passers" as opposed to Doncic and Trae Young.

Eh, I think I’ll take 44/6/6 on 80% shooting.

And he thinks he’s getting another contract

I totally stuffed up a parlay. I thought I had GS to win their last game but it was today's.

I just had a feeling the last leg would fail me.

The first 4 legs all came in fine, I even took the Lakers over scared eyes Durant.

I'm sure they'll be fine overall on the season, but they need some X factor. The league is young and talented now. Not sure their experience will save them vs a young upstart in the Playoffs like last vs SAC

The Warriors alleged extension offer is/was FAR too generous. Klay will improve his shooting as the season goes on, but he's a MLE guy at best in my eyes moving forward.

Doesn't help when your 2nd best player gets ejected for a play that had already happened....

Bucks might end up a play-in team. Figure Giannis and Lilly will miss at least 30-40 games combined. And with the roster otherwise devoid of decent talent, it’s going to be another season of just steps to success.

It's even more than that...

Klay just looks slow out there. Curry might still be the best shooter in the game, but he has never been a top defender and is a liability 1-1 against solid players. Wiggins is the big stopper and he doesn't look all world. And they don't have a big to protect the rim.

Yesterday looked like it might be one of those classic Warriors comebacks, and they had their window with Donovan Mitchell shooting 1-12 in the second half, but by the 4th quarter they just looked tired.

I know a lot of the NBA is about matchups, and I know there are teams that they match up well against. I'm just used to seeing the Warriors team that didn't matter who they were playing, they were going to impose their will no matter what.

It's early in the season and anything can still happen. But Denver looks to be putting more distance between them and the next few Western conference contenders. And with J. Murry out to boot. Fully healthy, Denver appears to be a no-brainer to come out of the west. Jokic is in a class by himself. M. Porter Jr. has shown very nice play thus far. Porter Jr. was sub-par in the Finals last year, if he improves another big plus for Denver come Finals time. Aaron Gordon has shown last years improvement wasn't a fluke. And I get the impression Denver's defense actually can step it up when needed.

That was laughably bad officiating.

Mitchell shoves Dray and only gets a common foul, and Dray gets a T and an ejection for talking back to him afterwards?????

Who do you think the 6 teams ahead of them will be?

I think Boston and Philly are locks. I can even pencil the Knicks. Who else is there? Miami is a minor Jimmy injury for being out of the playoffs. You can hope Atlanta, Orlando and Indy keep it up but it's gonna hard to see them even getting to 48 wins.

They are gonna need serious help though. At least 2 more good defensive players in the wings or they are done.

There will be at least six.

Bucks are too old, too injured, and play no defense. The season will wear down on them fast. And come April, they’ll be the same ghost they almost always are.

I mean it's Russ to the bench no? Can't imagine why Harden wanted to get to LA so badly, though. This has blowup written all over it already.
