Damn, I can say this Pacers need to acquire a crash equivalent in the secondary if they gonna start him. Benn has no defense and Smith isn't doing it. Or they need Jarace Walker and Ben Shepard to develop fast. Wake up call.

Giving Bogi his mojo back.

As the Atlanta announcer put it "you think you get 65 by half, you down 15."

Only saving grace is 13 points can be made up easy if you tire the opposing team out by the half.

Another day, another Indiana opponent over 130.

These are basically all star weekend games.

157-152. I assume Pacers going to the famed 'Lanta clubs and make it rain 3s all night.

Nesmith had a critical moment at the end by not fouling Murray. Damn.

Cavs are absolutely better without Mitchell hogging the ball.

Sixers-Cavs was basically playoff intensity - good game.

That was a great regular season game. Once the sixers closed the gap, it was back and forth til the end

Yep

Time to shop him if he won’t sign long term (and even then I’m conflicted)

I said it a page or two ago… and I believe you also did… Garland is a rock star when he runs the team and he makes Mobley and Allen all star level players

Mitchell is a Top 20 player but no longer a fit

He's to get a chance here to see if he can fit in.

But the leading the league in shots thing needs to calm down. If he can't do that it's time to get a wing, move Strus to SG full time, and some add back some draft capital.

I like Mitchell and want this to work for the Cavs and at times there are glimpses but the amount of shots per game has to lessen. That or JB has to find a way to stagger things with him and Garland. Mobley and Allen are so much better when there is an actual facilitator on the court. If they figure Mitchell isn't going to stay, call up Brooklyn and see if you can get Bridges, DFS, and some picks.

I doubt Brooklyn would give up Bridges by himself for Mitchell.

Yeah idk where a fit for Mitchell exists if they were to shop him. Maybe Chicago since nothing they do ever makes sense and seems they may finally want to blow up the Lavine-Derozan-Vuc core.

Out of all things the Bulls done, getting Donovan Mitchell would be one of the best case scenarios.

Unless they give up too much for him, which they would probably do.

Nowhere, that's the problem.

Would Toronto gamble? They have the assets.

The Heat?

Knicks probably wouldn't trade for him with the expectation of him signing there in FA

Agreed. I saw a rumor yesterday on a trade centered around Lavine for Klay Thompson. I'd much rather have Mitchell than Thompson now.

Yeah I don't disagree, it would at least give them a young scorer they could start to build around.

I thought about Heat/Knicks but would Cleveland really do a deal around a Barrett/Herro? Spo may actually be the coach to best teach Spida to buy into defending and playing team ball, but idk if the Heat would even offer enough.

Toronto would be the most interesting one. I assume Cleveland would love to have OG, and that Scottie is obviously off the table, and there may be a real fit there.
