Baseball card shop in Manhattan ?
I will be in NY City in a few weeks time and would love to check out some of the better baseball card shops where they buy and sell cards (will potentially also look to sell a A&G Pacquiao auto I pulled, feels safer vs eBay from here).
Any help would be greatly appreciated !

There is a card shop on Maiden Lane downtown (just google it). But, I don't think they buy/sell unless you're willing to sell CHEAP.
Otherwise, there isn't really anything else. |

Alex's MVP on 89th and 2nd is nice little mom-and-pop operation that does some buying/selling. I've never done any singles business with them myself, but I'll try to pop in around the time of a new release and pick up a box or two. Prices are reasonable if you remember to remind yourself you're in Manhattan

I think the best card shop is in the Bronx, BBC WORLD or something like that. No other shop is really worth it anymore, and its a shame. However ONE OF THE BEST CARD SHOWS IN NY is in NYC, on west 43rd street, at Holy Cross school./ Small, old school show with great dealers!

Yes of you want to stare at the same dealers who have dust on their cases from not opening them due over pricing everything. But dont be fooled this dont mean they pay more. Do yourself a favor and avoid the show its a waste of time.

The next 2 shows are June 9th and July 14th,they're once a month.Don't listen to the negative comments about the show. There is ONE dealer that charges too much, just stay away from her.

Couldnt disagree more. The dealers at that show, which has been a successfull and VERY POPULAR show for over 20 years, has excellent dealers that certainly do not have dust on there cases. Many of the cities top BUYERS and COLLECTORS attend this show monthly. I am from NYC and am a dealer that did that show for years, always a great show for people who do not want there cards for free, and care to hold the card before they buy it. Good Luck!!!
